 Annual Meeting

Our annual meeting will be Sunday, February 23^rd, following the service. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the accompanying brunch.

Pancake Dinner

In honor of Shrove Tuesday, we will be having a pancake dinner on March 4^th from 5:30 pm to 7 pm in the parish hall. If you would like to attend, a signup sheet is on the bulletin board across from the kitchen, as well as one for those who can help with set up and clean up.

Ash Wednesday

A reminder that we will have two Ash Wednesday services on March 5^th: one in the early afternoon at 12:30 pm and an evening service at 5:30 pm.

Garden (Work) Party

We need volunteers to help work on the garden grounds on Saturday, March 8th from 9:00-11:00 am. Bring your favorite gardening and clean up tools and help get the church yard ready for spring!

Confirmation Sessions and Dinner with the Bishop

The bishop will be visiting on April 6^th. In preparation for this, Fr Paul will be holding four sessions in March after each Sunday service for those interested in confirmation or baptism. The Vestry will also be hosting a casual dinner with Bishop LaBelle on Saturday, April 5^th at 6 pm. A sign up for those who would like to attend, as well as one for those who can help with set up and clean up, will be available closer to time.

Prayer Chain

A reminder that we have started a prayer chain to better support each other. If you, a friend, or a family member are in need of prayer, please contact Laurel Sheffield with the details you are comfortable sharing at laurelcsheffield@gmail.com or 859-457-0550 (text only) and your request will be passed on to the congregation to be lifted in prayer. If you want to make sure to receive Laurel’s emails, make sure to add hir email address to your address book.

Feast Day Donations

The feast day of Blessed Absalom Jones was February 13^th. In honor of this saint’s day and his legacy, the church is encouraging congregants to donate to the Absalom Jones Fund or other HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) funds. To do so, you can call 212-716-6002.
