State of the Building
Merry Jo, Kerry and other members of Building and Grounds have been preparing for new paint by pressure washing and priming the stairway by the Sunday School room. Other ongoing projects include installing the new railings on the office porch, as well as those on the entry porch to the sanctuary. Countless minor repairs also continue apace.
Additionally, is there someone willing to launder the kitchen linens each week? Please let Merry Jo know 360-789-7549. It would help keep our kitchen clean and running smoothly for the many groups who use it.
Garden (Work) Party
We need volunteers to help work on the garden grounds on Saturday, September 7 from 9:00-11:00 am. Please bring your favorite gardening and clean up tools so we look our best for the Parish Picnic the next day

Wedding Blessings
Congratulations to the newly wed Daniel and Kim McBride. May their marriage be a long and happy one!
Reminders
- Please remember that there will be NO 9 AM SERVICE Sunday, September 8. It will instead begin at 11 am on account of the picnic.
- Our Old Home Sunday picnic needs volunteers for both set up and clean up. A sign-up sheet for that is on the bulletin board, with one for food to follow.
- The Holiday Bazaar has been rescheduled to November 9th. In the meantime, ready your knitting needles, wood-working tools, and the like! We are also taking donations of baked goods, books, plants, and gently used kitchen items, as well as fall and holiday decor. There will be a soup lunch provided and a chance to win at the yearly quilt raffle.
Thank you to:
- All those donating their talents and time to make the Parish Picnic a success
- Mert, Annette, and all the worker bees that have pitched in to make up the parking lot sale
- Our acolytes for their tireless contribution to the service
