July – August 21st – School Supply Donation
We are collecting basic school supplies to share with schools all over Grays Harbor. This will relieve the burden on families in need. Donations are accepted all summer up until 8/21. We will deliver them in person.
Supply suggestions: Backpacks, spiral notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, wide-ruled paper, rulers, scissors, glue sticks, erasers, 3 ring binders, and colored pencils. If you prefer, you may give a cash or check donation made out to St. Andrew’s (put School Supplies in the notes line).
August 14th – Car Wash
This annual event is held in our church parking lot Sunday 8/21 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The vestry will partner with church youth to get cars sparkling clean. All donations go to the Geri Trudell Memorial Scholarship and is given to active youth parishioners seeking to further their education.
August 21st at 11:00am – Old Home Sunday (Reunion BBQ)
Everyone who has ever called St. Andrew’s or Holy Trinity Hoquiam home is invited to join us for Holy Eucharist at 11:00am with a barbeque to follow. (Please note that there will be NO 9:00am service.) This is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and celebrate St, Andrew’s rich history. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and beverages are provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. You always have a home at St. Andrew’s!
